Taylor, John Hugh – Age 91, Middle Stewiacke, passed away peacefully at home, on December 26, 2015, with Tina and AJ by his side. Born in Middle Stewiacke, he was a son of the late George and Henrietta (Fulton) Taylor. John was an exceptional man and a great neighbour. His generosity and humour will be missed by many.

Surviving are his extended family, Tina and AJ O'Connell; sister-in-law, Pearl Taylor; many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by long-time companion, Lena O'Connell. The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was predeceased by sisters, Margaret Miller, Ethel Davidson, Anna Taylor; brothers, Douglas, Rupert, Byard, Arnold.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Middle Stewiacke United Church, Rev. Keith Gale officiating. Burial will be in Middle Stewiacke Cemetery. The family will meet friends for a reception downstairs in the church following the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations to Middle Stewiacke United Church would be appreciated.

Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
