H. Blaine Clifton - January 10, 1940 ~ January 23, 2017

Our brother, H(arold) Blaine Clifton, passed away on Monday morning, January 23, 2017, from a second heart attack.

He was born in Ogden, Utah, the son of Harold A Clifton and Myrtle E R Clifton. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He spent his growing up years in Ogden and Washington Terrace; a sometimes bashful youngster, but always a tease to his three sisters and younger brother. Blaine graduated from Weber High School and worked at the American Can Co., then moved to California where he worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for I.T.T. He found the love of his life, Sally, in sunny Ventura, California. Blaine enjoyed his friendships with his coworkers, and valued his friends as a cadet with the police department of Ventura.

His interest was family, NASCAR, riding horses, golf and traveling in his motorhome. He leaves behind Sally; two sisters, Francene Stamey, Joyce Peterson; a brother, Alan Clifton. Preceded in death by sister, Colleen Haney; and parents. Surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held in Ventura, California, for friends and coworkers. Blaine will be brought to Ogden for a graveside service for family and friends on Monday, January 30, 2 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery.

There will be a gathering at Joyce's home in Kaysville, Utah, after the service, for a light luncheon.
