Jerrel has struggled with emphysema for several years. He recently received excellent care at the UT Health East in Tyler. We want to say a huge thank you to the nursing staff that helped us through this difficult time.

If you knew our "Papa", then you know he loved plaid shirts, Levi's and working on trucks. Out of college, he worked in Dallas and Tyler as a stock broker. He later opened and retired from Horns Used Trucks on Hwy 849 in Lindale. His smile could light up a room and his jokes never got old. We will miss you "Papa"…thank you for always being there for anyone in need. He loved finding a partner at a 42-domino table and reading mystery novels.

His celebration of life will be held at our old family home site on Hwy 849 on Sunday, November 25th at 2:00 pm come rain or shine (15533 FM Hwy 849, Lindale, TX – look for the yellow Horn's Used Trucks sign). We will be at the farm from 2:00 to 4:00.
