Survivors also include her four sons, Christopher (Monica) McKinney, of New Bremen, Michael (Tina) McKinney, of Anna, Timothy (Christina) McKinney, of Tipp City, and Aaron (Abby) McKinney, of Lakeview; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard (Judy) Howell, of York Town, IN and Ed Howell, of Lima; two sisters, Pam Markman and Roseann (Rich) Bollinder, both of Lima; sister-in-law, Deb Howell, of St. Marys; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Howell, Steven Howell; sister-in-law, Trish Howell.
Linda was a 1966 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School. She had served her community as an EMT with Wayne Township Fire & Rescue. Linda enjoyed traveling and was able to travel the country with her field trained border collies. As a top trainer, she was featured on the Animal Planet. Linda also owned Flyaway Geese, training border collies to chase geese off runways, golf courses, etc. She enjoyed birds and flowers, but her true treasures were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Pastor Jean Horn officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation at www.copdfoundation.org
