Mr. Quinn was born May 9, 1896, in Lowellville, a son of Michael and Bridget Burke Quinn, coming here in 1924. He was a turn foreman and bar mill superintendent for the Sharon Steel Corp's Lowellville Works for 45 years, retiring in 1961. He was a member of St. Nicholas Church and its Altar and Rosary Society and past commander of VFW Post 3538 and had served with the Army during World War I. His wife, the former Mary Grimm, whom he married in 1924, died in 1961.
He leaves two sons, Thomas R. of Hubbard and Stephen J. of Struthers; a daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Bowman of Struthers, and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was the last of his family, five brothers and two sisters having died previously.
