He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.
On May 31, 1958 he married Norma Jenks at Lakin, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Max Klotz of Dodge City, Ks. and Earnest Klotz of Hutchinson, Ks.; two daughters, Kim Grund of Dodge City, Ks. and Susan Klotz of Kinsley, Ks.; two brothers, Rodger Klotz of Meade, Ks. and Jerry Klotz of Lakin, Ks.; sixteen grandchildren including Sadie, Lacey, Lindsey and Eric that he and Norma raised; twenty-six great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Wed. June 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade, Ks.
