She was a member of Campbells Chapel Church in Louisville, KY. Jessie was all about family and especially her grandchildren, and was described as funny, witty and just enjoyed being around people.
Jessie is survived by her son, Donnie Johnson and his wife Kirstie of Henryville, IN; sister, Evonia Stice of Brownsville, KY; daughter-in-law Melanie Johnson of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Taylor Trendel, Shelby Johnson, Cody Johnson, Nick Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Blair Johnson, Jaylynn Johnson and Max Johnson; great-granddaughter, Payton Fancher.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Larry Johnson, son, Darrell Johnson, sisters, Jean Flood and Cheyenne Hooser, granddaughter, Sheena Fancher.
Life Celebration Services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Lone Hill United Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday until 1:00 P.M..
