Jill Evans Myers, 72, of Soddy Daisy, passed from her earthly home to Heaven on May 28, 2021. She is now at peace resting in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Her lengthy battle with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease has been won. Her body and mind are whole again. She will be missed, but we celebrate her eternal victory!

Jill was a graduate of Red Bank High School and Chattanooga State Community College. When she was young, she enjoyed water-skiing and playing practical jokes. As a Nana, she enjoyed baking chocolate chip cookies and playing with her grandsons. Jill was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and the Power/Teague Life Group. She loved the Lord, hearing the Word, and listening to gospel music.

Jill is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Lorene Evans, and brothers, Donald Evans and David Evans. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 53 years, Leland Albert Myers; daughter, Jennifer (Bryan) Beasley; two grandsons, Daniel Craven and Garret Beasley; three nephews, two precious aunts, and many cousins.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Soddy Daisy Healthcare Center for the love and care they showed to Jill over a very difficult pandemic year.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org, or to Hearth Hospice at www.hearthhospice.com.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, June 1, and 12 (noon) to 1 pm on Wednesday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Jill's life will follow at 1 pm on Wednesday at the North Chapel. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

We respectfully request that "social distancing", wearing masks, and all CDC measures be followed at the funeral home and cemetery.
