Michelle was a woman of deep faith who truly loved the Lord and had a heart for service. She was an active member of First Baptist Church Lambert's Point (Norfolk) where she served as a Sunday school teacher, member of the Cancer Ministry, Bread of Life, and the Culinary Arts Committee. She also fulfilled her passion for service as a proud member of Iota Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
She was an inspirational author. Through her book "It's Already Done!" and daily devotionals published in the Zoe Life Inspired series, she sought to inspire many others to embrace the amazing gift of hope that comes with the dawn of each new day and remind them that it is never too late to begin again.
Michelle was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and niece. She is survived by her parents, Edwina and Clarence Wilson, Jr.; her sister, Lisa Wilson; her brothers, Clarence Wilson, III (Clay) and Michael Wilson; her nieces, Quintonya Wilson and Mya Wilson; her nephew, Malik Wilson; her aunts, Lynda Howcott and Margaret Mitchell, and a host of cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to The American Heart Association or Edmarc Hospice for Children (Portsmouth).
