Mrs. Mary Katherine Wall Atkins, Age 74, of Dobson, NC passed away at her home on Friday, May 28, 2021. She was born in Surry County on February 6, 1947, to the late Ellis Green Wall and the late Metta Viola Doss Wall. In additions to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Gray Atkins; sisters, Louise Hutchens, Bonnie Poindexter; brothers, Billy Wall, James Wall, George Wall. Surviving is her two daughters and son-in-law, Angela Pierce, Misty and Stacy Noah; son and daughter-in-law, Shannon and Carolyn Atkins, grandchildren, Andrew Atkins, Cody Cave, Grayson Campbell; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Lois Wall. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, May 31, 2021, at Redeeming Grace Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Chaplain Jonathan Casstevens, Rev. Micky Brooks, Glinard Lawson will officiate the services. The family will receive friends at the Church on Monday, from 1:00 PM until the time of her service at 2:00 PM. The would like to give a special thanks to Danette Hawks, Courtney Pike, Jonathan Casstevens at Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Atkins family. Due to COVID restrictions, the family requests all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
