He was a loving father, grandfather, and son and an avid U of L fan.
He was preceded in death by a son, Nathaniel "Nate" Scott.
He is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Miller (David); son, Jonathan Scott; parents, Joseph Sr., and Gloria Carroll Scott; sisters, Denise Morgan and Teresa Ray (Greg); brother, Anthony Scott; grandchildren, Tahj Scott, Issac Scott, Aden Scott, Evan Scott, Tre Miller, Arabella Miller and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 12-8pm Sunday, June 6, 2021 . His funeral mass will be 11am Monday, June 7, 2021 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
