Rodney Steven "Steve" Moore, age 55, of Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at his home. He was born May 17, 1966 in Wilkes County to Carl Ray and Doris Jean Anderson Moore. Steve enjoyed fishing. He was a huge fan of Stewart Haas Racing, the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR. He loved his family, friends, and his dog, Foxer. But more than anything, his son, Chase, who was his world. Steve could always make people laugh. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Randy "Catfish" Carl Moore; and nephew, Ryan Seth Moore.
He is survived by his son, Steven Chase Moore and spouse Emma of North Wilkesboro; mother, Doris Jean Moore of North Wilkesboro; brothers, Terry Moore and spouse Kim of Roaring River, "Petey" Ronald Moore of Wilkesboro, Roger Moore and spouse Judy of Millers Creek, Brian Moore of Wilkesboro, Harrison "Matt" Moore and spouse Mary of Millers Creek, Michael "Scott" Moore and spouse Mindy of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and sisters, Lisa Moore Long and spouse Gary of Glen Alpine, NC, Martha Moore Wood and spouse Lane of Wilkesboro; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2021 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Allen Bouchelle officiating. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
