Henry Tufton, 11th Earl of Thanet, was the son of Sackville Tufton, 8th Earl of Thanet, and Mary Sackville, the daughter of Lord John Philip Sackville and sister of John Frederick Sackville, 3rd Duke of Dorset. He never married and was the last Earl of Thanet.
