Jonathan Bennett Jackson
January 17, 2006 - May 24, 2021

Jonathan Bennett Jackson (West Chester, OH) went on to be with his Lord on May 24, 2021. Born on Tuesday morning, January 17th, 2006 in Fairfield into a loving family, Jonathan lived a life filled with creativity, laughter, and music. Whether by offering his talents onstage through bass-playing, singing, and acting, or offstage through running sound and directing video, his presence added a unique color to the Vineyard Cincinnati Church youth group and Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy fine arts programs. At the core of everything Jonathan did was his unmistakable heart for people. He is best remembered for putting others at ease, always quick to chime in with something witty and hilarious. As someone who struggled against severe asthma all of his life, he knew how it felt to be different, on the outside looking in. He made it his mission that no one else would feel that way around him, reaching out as a good listener to those who needed one, leaving laughter and compassion and acceptance in his wake. Jonathan was intentional in how he loved people, and left a lasting impact on many in his fifteen years. He will be forever loved, cherished, and deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Sherry (nee Habegger) Nevil, and his uncle Jim Nevil.

He is survived by: parents, Terry A. Jackson and Teresa A. (nee Nevil) Jackson; sister, Elise Jackson; brother, Carter Jackson; puppy, Lacie; paternal grandparents, Harold and June (nee Dixon) Jackson; aunts and uncles, Diane (Jim) Cummer, Kay Nevil, Mark (Lori) Nevil, and Tom Nevil; cousins, Joshua Nevil, KT Nevil, Nicholas Cummer, Jeremy Nevil, and Madison Nevil; in addition to many other loving family members and friends.

A visitation for the public is scheduled for Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel at Vineyard Cincinnati Church, 11340 Century Circle E., Springdale, Ohio 45246.

A visitation and funeral service for family, close friends, and those traveling from out of town will begin Thursday, June 3rd, 2021 at noon with following service at 1:00 PM at the Chapel at Vineyard Cincinnati Church, 11340 Century Circle E., Springdale, Ohio 45246.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and The Healing Center (Vineyard Cincinnati Church).
