John Ballard Bradshaw passed away peacefully at his home at Menger Springs in Boerne, Texas on May 8th, 2021. John was born in Delphi, Indiana on March 24th, 1932 and is survived by his wife, six children, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

John spent a career in the Air Force where his most influential accomplishment was conceiving and establishing the Community College of the Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force as a Lt Colonel, he opened a video rental store as the new VHS video rental business was starting.

Throughout his life John was an avid and accomplished Dixieland Jazz trombone player. Over the years he played in several bands, attended numerous Adult Jazz Camps and had the opportunity to play at various noteworthy venues including the Landing Jazz Club on the San Antonio River Walk, the King William Parade of Fiesta San Antonio, Fritzel's European Jazz Pub on Bourbon Street and Preservation Hall in New Orleans.
