David Beckham Stafford, age 55, of Owen County, passed away on his farm, Friday, May 21, 2021.

He was born on March 27, 1966 in Owenton to Donald Beckham Stafford and Marilyn Walls Graves. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Stafford, his brother Mitchell Kindoll, and his nephews Randy Cobb and Chad Perkins as well as his brother in law Randy (Pedro) Cobb. David spent most of his time outdoors. He enjoyed farming, bee keeping and hunting. He had recently rekindled his love of fishing. He also loved being out on his Harley. David was a 9 year US Army Veteran.

He will be deeply missed by his mother, Marilyn Walls (Bobby) Graves; his step mother Jenny (G.B) Stafford Turner, his children, Denver Stafford, Jorja Williamson; his siblings, Donna (Randy) Stafford Cobb, Mary Dawn (Andy) Edmondson, Lisa (Jerry) McBurney, Barry (Lea Ann) Graves, Michelle (Mike) Lucas; and his grandchildren Madeline, Rylee and Natalie Stafford, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends and family at the Seminary Street location on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, from 4 - 7 pm. Funeral services will follow at 7pm. Masks are required for those who have not been vaccinated, and social distancing is encouraged. Memorial contributions may be made to the Funeral home for funeral expenses.
