Marsha Ann Cook, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 at her home in Clinton, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday, May 28th, 2021 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 29th, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Marsha Ann (Young) Cook was born in Clinton, Missouri on November 19th, 1954 to Lloyd and Elizabeth "Libby" Young. On August 9th, 1980 she married Donald Cook. She had two children Angela Hammond, who has been missing since 1991, and Zachary Cook.
Marsha worked at Mike Keith Insurance for 45 years and was very involved in Relay for Life. Marsha attended the Golden Valley Christian Church of Clinton. She loved to crochet and loved to cook, or go out to dinner somewhere and she loved to take care of her family. She loved going to sporting events and watching them on TV. She would never miss a family event whether it be a wedding, baby shower, graduation, birthday party, family gathering, etc.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law Leslie Young.
Survivors include her husband Donald and son Zach, brother Ron Young and sisters Sandy (Gary) Doll, and Kathy Roos, many nieces, nephews and friends.
