Richard David Krebs (Dick), 93 of Pulaski, NY passed away peacefully at his winter home in Palm Harbor, FL on May 25, 2021. He was born in Lancaster, PA, the son of Emma (Hertzler) and Charles H. Krebs. The family moved to Pulaski, NY where they started a dairy farm. Dick was a 1945 graduate of Pulaski School. 'Boris', as his friends called him, excelled in baseball and football and played on Championship Teams of both.

He worked for 10 years at Fulton Boiler Works in Pulaski while also working on the dairy farm with his dad. Later, he purchased the farm and went into dairying full time. After retiring from the dairy business, he furthered his career as the wingman on the snowplow for the Town of Richland delivering water for a local water company and also mowing the 'rough' at the Pines Golf Course.

During those years he raised six children with his then wife Janet (Freeborn)…. Michelle Krebs, Sharon Krebs Dillabough (David), Denise Krebs Ridgeway (Dann), Richard C. Krebs (Lori), Robert Krebs (Sandi) and Heidi Krebs Goodnough (Brian).

Dick and his wife of 43 years, Sharon (Rose) Krebs, also helped raised her children; Karen Powell Atkinson (Jeffrey), D. Mark Powell (Mary), James R. Powell (Sarah) and Brenda Lee Powell (deceased). He leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren with another on the way.

Dick was well known by many friends for his hard work ethic, fun loving attitude, his strong will and especially his quick wit and love of life. He also loved to dance, sing, play guitar and harmonica along with watching sports and his favored Yankees team. His jokes and storytelling will be remembered by many who had the opportunity to know him.

Calling hours and his Celebration of Life will commence at 10 am and 11 am, respectively, at Park Methodist Church in Pulaski, NY on Saturday, June 12. The burial will follow at the South Richland Cemetery. An informal luncheon will be open to friends and family at the 3M's Sand Bar and Restaurant at the corners of Rt. 3 and Co. Rt. 15 (Old Merv's Place).
