Billy G. Brown of Bakersfield, Missouri, passed away on May 24th, 2021, in West Plains, Missouri. He was born on August 24, 1931, in Vidette, Arkansas. Billy attended Viola High School and spent his working years as a carpenter.

He was the father of two sons, Jeff Brown and wife Laurie and Steve Brown and wife Nicole; step-sons, Jimmy Fetters and wife Bridgette and Phillip Fetters and wife Chandra; step-daughters, Patti Walker and Myra Dinger and husband Steve; two sisters, Evelyn Smith and Betty Johnston and husband Guy; 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Nora Brown; wife, Mona Brown; brothers Marcus, Lefal and Bob; sister, May Belle Foster and nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be held at Shrable Cemetery in Vidette, Arkansas on Saturday, May 29, 2021, beginning at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held at Doty Family Funeral Service Chapel in Salem, Arkansas on Friday, May 28, 2021, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
