Marian Ann McKinney "Sis," 86, died at home on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was born on November 9, 1934 in Island, Kentucky to the late Richard and Ottie (Smith) Maddox.
She attended Moorman High in Kentucky and married the late C.D. Brown. They had five children, Margaret (John), Patricia (deceased), Richard, John (Shannon), and Marlene.
Marian was a hard working housekeeper for over 40 years at Shane Manufacturing and Brauns Nursing Home where she retired in 2019.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bill, Don, and Ray.
In addition to her children, she is survived by her beloved grandchildren, Tony, Laura, Adam, Leah, and Haley as well as seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel. Burial will follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Published in Courier Press from May 27, to May 28, 2021.
