Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard Catholic Church for Nicholas H. (Nick) Sliemers, 77, of Lima. He died at 8:40 p.m. Saturday at his residence following an extended illness. He was born July 20, 1910 in Lima, the son of Theodore R. and Elizabeth Bergman Sliemers. On April 17, 1937, he married Rosemary H. Miller who survives. Mr. Sliemers was a building contractor for 50 years with his brothers in Sliemers Brothers Contractors. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society. He was a life member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 57. Survivors also include two sons, ...two brothers... a sister... and four grandchildren.
