Nancy Karl Wright was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, stepmother and friend. She passed on Saturday, May 22, 2021, after a brief illness.
Nancy peacefully passed away surrounded by her family. Heaven gained an amazing lady that will forever be missed by her family and friends. Born on January 19, 1942 to Homer and Lorine Moore, Nancy was one of six children. She was born and raised in Oak Cliff, Texas and was a graduate of Sunset High School in 1960.
Nancy lived life with a cheerful personality and fantastic smile. She cherished time with her family, friends and spoiling the apple of her eye, her granddaughter - Lindsey. She also enjoyed traveling, especially when there was a new casino or horse track close by.
Nancy retired from AAFES after a dedicated 26 years where she met her husband Bob. She enjoyed her career and all the friends she made along her journey.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Bob Kozachenko; her daughter, Lisa Higgins and husband Chris; granddaughter, Lindsey; her sisters, Freda Moore and Connie Hanes; her stepsons, Robert M. Kozachenko II and Michael Kozachenko.
Nancy is now reunited with her son - Terry Wright whom she loved so dearly; her parents Homer & Lorine Moore; and her three siblings, Fred Moore, Jerry Moore and Lou Berry along with several other relatives and friends who are joyfully dancing in Heaven!
Interment will be at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery on June 21st at 1:30PM. In addition, friends and family will be invited to attend a Celebration of Life at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials contributions can be made to Scottish Rite Hospital in Nancy's name.
