Donna Louise Mack, 78, of East Jordan, died on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield.
She was born on January 25, 1943, in Petoskey, the daughter of Clair "Dutch" and Dorothy "Dort" (Kline) Batterbee. She grew up in East Jordan, graduated from East Jordan High School and had been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Donna worked as a care giver for the home healthcare industry. She enjoyed knitting and playing Bingo.
She is survived by two children, Steve Parsons of Farmington and Kelly (Andy) Howe of Sparks, Nevada; three grandchildren, Blake Parsons, Morgan Parsons, and Cameron Parsons; and one brother, Ken Batterbee of Grand Blanc.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, the previous owners of The Duck Inn Restaurant in East Jordan, later known as the Lumber Jack; and her brother, Arnold Batterbee.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Jordan. The burial and a luncheon will follow the ceremony. Interment will be at St. Joseph Calvary Cemetery in East Jordan.
The family was served by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc., East Jordan.
