Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Crestwood Funeral Home for Mrs. Kathryn Morgan, age 84, of Gadsden, who died on Wednesday May 26, 2021. Rev. Jeff Rowan will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Morgan will be remembered for her kind heart and love for all. Kathryn graced our community with thoughtfulness and compassion. She never had a disparaging word to say about anyone. She enjoyed her church, Paden Baptist Church, where she attended most of her life as her father was a charter member. Family was everything to Kathryn. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all. She had a heart of gold, an angel on Earth, who has finally gained her wings. She was truly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dewey H. and Ed Mary Stonecypher, brother Clarence Stonecypher, and sister in law Dot Stonecypher.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband of 63 years Linus Robert Morgan, children Dee (Terry) Hunt and Linus Timothy Morgan, grandchildren Parker (Emily) Morgan Hunt, Jordan Hannah Hunt, and Alexandria Bay Hunt, great granddaughter Mila Leilani Morgan Barnes, and a large extended family.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and friends.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday starting at 2:00 p.m. and will last until the time of service.
