Frank Milton Morton, 81, of Wichita Falls, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Friberg Cooper United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronnie Lawson and Rev. Dan Conatser, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
A son of the late W.M. "Willie" and Carrie Valentine (Jenne) Morton, Frank was born at home on December 11, 1939 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated from Burkburnett High School in 1959 where he played football and was a member of 4-H and FFA. On May 17, 1959, he married the love of his life, Shara Sue McMillian. Frank was a lifetime member of Friberg Cooper United Methodist Church proudly serving on its Board of Trustees. He also served on the Burkburnett High School, School Board and was an FSA Board member. Frank was a productive farmer and rancher in Wichita County and was presented with numerous awards in Agriculture during his lifetime.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by one grandson, Frank Jeffery Baber.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shara Sue Morton; two daughters, Lyn Morton Landrum and husband Wallace Lynn Landrum, and Keri Fae Morton; his grandchildren, April Rusk and husband Justin, Adam Potts and wife Kara, Torrey Harding and husband Roy, and Clayton Baber; nine great-grandchildren, Justi Rusk, Tegan Rusk, Jazz Rusk, Jude Rusk, Brooks Rusk, Addie Potts, Angler Potts, Brazos Harding, and Lola Harding; his brother, William J. Morton and wife Barbara; nephew, Charles Morton and wife Shannon; niece, Tracie Kocher and husband Andy; and nephew, Keffory Levy.
