Kathryn Osteen Hunt, 89, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on May 25, 2021.
A native Floridian, Kathryn was born in Ocoee, Florida to the late Thomas and Susie Osteen. She lived in Fort Pierce for many years before retiring to Clayton, Georgia. Kathryn returned to Florida in 2016, moving to Vero Beach.
Prior to retirement, Kathryn owned Hunt's Village Shoppe Florist. She was a very talented and artistic floral designer. She had a gift for taking care of others and was always there for her family and friends. Her greatest passion and joy came from her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her beloved husband Emanuel C. Hunt, sons Stephen Hunt and Richard Hunt, grandson James Hindman, and brothers Thomas, Roy, and Allen Osteen.
Kathryn is survived by her four daughters, Kathy Kremkau (Mike), Mary Atkins (Gary), Pattee Mitchell, and Pam Tillman (Fred); daughters-in-law Ann Hunt and Sandy Hunt, 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild (with another one on the way!)
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
