Born 1/31/1933 to Ruth A. Davis Miller & Guy L. Miller, Jr. in Indianapolis. Graduated from Crispus Attucks High School Class of 1950. Attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where she founded the Delta Phi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority in 1954 of which she remained a member for 68 years. She earned a Master's Degree in education and began teaching in the Gary, Indiana public school system where she remained until she retired. She relocated from Gary to Indianapolis in 2017 where she passed on 04/28/2020. She is survived by 2 brothers Guy III and Herbert Miller Sr., 1 daughter Kathie Diakite, and twin grandsons Troy and Taylor James.
