Brett Nathan Dixon, 62, of Springfield, died at 4:50 pm, Monday, May 24, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born December 26, 1958, in Springfield, to Frederick William and Ann E. Noble Dixon.

Survivors include his mother, Ann E. Dixon; one sister, Susan Dixon of HI; one brother John (Lisa) Dixon of Greenview; six nieces and nephews: Shalom Whitford, Aaron Whitford, Shamra (Tim) Kline, Jake (Katy) Dixon, Austin Dixon and Sam Dixon and four great nieces and nephews, Elijah Gleffe, Isaac Gleffe; Shawn Kline and Hazel Kline.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Brett was an avid Bears, Cubs and Illini Fan. He enjoyed collecting arrowheads, stoneware, bottles and hunting for mushrooms. His dog, Samantha, was his best friend.

He had worked for Stone Seed Farms for many years.
