Virginia Lee (Misener) Nelson, died at the age of 72, from alzheimer's and a long battle of illnesses.

Born June 20, 1948 in Ashtabula to Harry (Daisy) Misener and Pauline Misener.

Virginia was known with a nickname "Ginger"

Ginger was one that enjoyed playing pool with her special pool stick, and play her drums with or without a band, repaired mobile homes and then sold them, camping, dancing. She was employed Namco controls which was high-speed coil winding machine and worked at a nursing home.

She was always chasing Marilyn with worms. Also, she put a worm around her plate at the dinner table so no one would get the worm. But, then the worm started moving and Ginger kept trying to keep it hid, but, then ma saw it and made her take the worm outside.

Ginger, also dressed up as Santa Clause for the family when the nieces and nephews were small. Ginger was in Alcoholics Anonymous for many years.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents and a lot of aunts and uncles and her nephew Mike Misener.

Ginger is survived by her brother Kenneth (Josephine) Misener of Ashtabula, two sisters in Jefferson is Marilyn Crabtree and Barb (Howard) Christ and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Fleming and Billman Funeral Directors Jefferson location, 49 W. Jefferson St. Jefferson, Ohio on Thursday May 27, 2021. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-1:00pm with a service following at 1:00pm. Burial will take place at the Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson. Family and friends are welcome to join together at Jefferson Grange #1131 after the service to celebrate Ginger's life.
