Thelma A. Jones, 81 of Schnecksville, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at her home. Born March 8, 1940 in Catasauqua, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Kromer, Sr. and the late Emma (Peters) Kromer. She was the wife of Frederick S. Jones with whom she shared 63 years of marriage last June 1, 2020.
Thelma was last employed by the former Case Box Lunch of Northampton as a line worker for several years. She was a former member of the Young Men's Club, Bethlehem, PA, She enjoyed the game of Bingo playing often at the Diamond Fire Co., Walnutport, PA. She was a Baseball fan always cheering for her NY Mets, but her greatest love was being with her family.
Surviving along with her husband Frederick are sons, Michael Jones of Emerald, PA, Scott Jones and wife Lisa of Slatington, PA and Matthew Jones of Bethlehem, PA, daughters, Tina Jones of Walnutport, PA, Tammy wife of Kenneth Richard, Jr. of Northampton, PA and Holly wife of Thomas Gusick of Fogelsville, PA, brothers, Wayne Kromer of Bethlehem, PA and Arthur Kromer, Jr and wife Sharon of Hamilton Texas, and sister, Doris wife of Ronald Christman of Bethlehem, PA; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for the Family will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday May 28, 2021 at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, Pennsylvania 18067. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, PA.
