Mrs. Annie Bell Washington Johnson, age 71, was born in Grand Bay, AL, and was a longtime resident of Pascagoula, MS for the past 40 years, when going home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2021, while at home surrounded by family. She was a homemaker that loved to cook. She was a laid-back person with a quiet spirit, and people always gravitated to her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Johnson, and her parents, Annie Mae Grayson Washington and Earl Washington, Sr.; her brothers, Willie Moore, Earl Washington, Jr., and Ronald Washington; and her sisters, Earlene Washington Strange, Agnes Brown, Bertha Mae Washington, and Irene Washington.

She leaves to survive her loving memory to her two daughters, Mae Gandy and Natalie Gandy; her sons, Bobby Gandy, Jr. (Flora), and Lorenzo Joseph Sanders; five grandchildren, Sabrina, Toquita, Philicia, Harold and Lishanna; eight great-grandchildren, Taliyah, Alivia, James, Myles, Marquell, Addison, Jamaud, and James; her goddaughter, Gracie; and two special friends, Brittany and Brianna Webb; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends that will all miss her so very dearly.
