Tommy was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 20, 1956 to Sam and Josephine Capuano Peters, Jr. and passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021, in Bossier City, Louisiana. Tommy attended Bossier High School and after graduation in 1974, went to work for his dad at Peter's Grocery in Bossier City. One of Tommy's favorite family traditions was making Italian sausage using his great-grandfather's recipe. From an early age Tommy knew he was destined to run the family store. He was a life member at Christ the King Catholic Church, where in his younger years, he served as an altar boy. Tommy was a loving son, brother, father, and friend to everyone. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Tommy is preceded in death by his father; wife, Deborah Peters; and niece, Melissa Rose Maggio. Left to cherish his memory are his mother; son, Brandon Peters; sister, Sharon Peters Maggio and husband, Vince; niece, Sara Jo Williams and husband, Dusty; and great-nieces, Joleigh and Gemma Rose Williams and great-nephew, Grayson.
Honoring Tommy as pallbearer will be Vincent Capuano, Tim Mitchell, Jim Whitman, Sonny Charchio, Joe Maggio, Joseph Maggio, Matthew Holcomb, and Neal McMahon.
