Alex loved baseball and playing golf. He enjoyed being at the beach in LBI and boating all over with his friends. Alex also had a passion for traveling with Scotland, Ireland, and Italy being some of his favorite places. He enjoyed smoking cigars and drinking either Balvenie Scotch or any drink with an umbrella. Family was extremely important to Alex and he loved spending time with them.
Alex is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cindy Davidson, his children, Matthew Davidson and wife Laura, Michael Davidson and wife Emilee, Crysta Davidson, and Emma Davidson, his grandchildren, Sophia, Delilah, Kiara, and Theo, his mother, Anna Davidson, his siblings, Natalie and husband Rodzy, and Nick and wife Rose, and his father-in-law, Donald Buck. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Janet "Kay" Buck, and sister-in-law, Jennifer Buck.
A Celebration of Alex's Life will include a visitation on Wednesday, May 26 from 3pm to 7pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road (corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 10:30am funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 27 at St. Joseph Church in Mendham, NJ. Burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester, NJ.
