Betty Lou Stevens, 99, of Jonesboro, AR passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021.

Betty was born on January 21, 1922 in Paris, IL, the daughter of Roy and Annis (Cushman) Mullins. She married Leland F. Stevens on October 1, 1942. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2003. Betty was the cook manager for the Decatur Public School District for over 20 years. She was the co-leader for both boy scouts and girl scouts.
Betty is survived by her son: William Leon Stevens of Decatur, IL; sisters: Kathy Blount of Paris, IL and Deana (William) Taylor of Brownsburg, IN; grandchildren: Bart Elliott of Jackson, MO, Darcy (Aaron) Dees of Westminster, CO, Carrie (Chris) Cook of Jonesboro, AR, Jim Stevens of Mt. Zion, IL, Roy (Karina) Stevens of Castle Rock, CO and Trevor Gilman of Warrensburg, IL; great grandchildren: Breana (Aaron) Cruz of Sikeston, MO, Heather Elliott of Jackson, MO, Jeremy Elliott of Cape Girardeau, MO, Hannah (Kyle) Anderson of Mountain House, CA, Elijah Cook of Vilseck, Germany, Kayleigh Dees of Westminster, CO, Conner Dees of Westminster, CO, Scott Stevens of Castle Rock, CO, Wyatt Stevens of Mt. Zion, IL and Wesley Cook of Jonesboro, AR; great-great grandchildren: Eden Cruz, Adlyn Cruz and Harper Cruz all of Sikeston, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons: James and Thomas, daughter: Patricia, brother: Thomas Mullins, sister: Ruby Keltz and her granddaughter: Stacy Ann Elliott.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Edgar Cemetery, Paris, IL.
