Elizabeth Joyce Mauney Riley, 77, passed away on October 21, 2020 at her daughters home in Hernando surrounded by her family. She was born in 1943 and was the cafeteria manager for the Eudora Learning Center. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family all of her life making sure they knew they were loved and her home was always there for them.
Visitation will be from 11 am until funeral service at 1 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home, 2470 Hwy 51 S, Hernando, Mississippi. The family requests that all attendees wear a mask. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband James Albert Riley and their children. Her daughters, Betty Riley, Lisa Hendricks (Shawn) and Mike Riley and Vicki all of Hernando, Mississippi. She also leaves a sister, Betty Claire Hamrick (Gary) of Southaven, Mississippi and two brothers, Gary Mauney (Tina) of Pelahatchie, Mississippi and Marc Mauney (Vicki) of Hernando, Mississippi, (7) grandchildren, and (10) great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus Harland and Pinky Mauney and her brother Jerry Mauney.
