Michele was a Homemaker during her marriage. She worked for Shafter High School District as an instructional assistant in math and English. She also worked in administration for San Joaquin Community Hospital. Michele volunteered at Valley Baptist Church with the kitchen team, Kern Medical Center cuddling newborn babies, and various Kern County Human Services organizations.
