Linda Louise (Fitzgerald) Bowen, 72, wife of Buddy Bowen of Augusta Street, Verona, Virginia passed away Monday, May 24, 2021 at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.

Mrs. Bowen was born in Waynesboro, Virginia on December 11, 1948, a daughter of the late James Parke Fitzgerald and Ruth Marie (Riddle) Fitzgerald Thomas.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by a brother, David Fitzgerald and a sister, Sarah (Fitzgerald) Hite.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 54 years is a son, Matthew Bowen and wife, Annette of Hermitage, Tennessee; two daughters, Melany Bowen and Marsha Bowen both of Verona; two brothers, Michael Fitzgerald of Lyndhurst and Richard Fitzgerald of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. Matthew Bowen.
