William Cline, 77, of Phoenix passed away on April 19, 2021 of natural causes. He was born on March 6, 1944 in Bozeman, MT. William moved to the Imperial Valley in 1955 with his family. Graduated from Central Union High in 1963 and from Citrus Junior College in 1965, he was drafted in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. Worked for the Imperial County Public Works Department for 36 years, hobbies included wood working, walking and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn Cline on January 19, 2010. William is survived by his son, Craig and daughter-in-law, Miroslava; daughter, Heather and son-in-law, Christopher; brother, Robert; sisters Kay, Wymona and Tanna; 7 grandchildren. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in El Centro and will be officiated by John Jones of Valley Christian Church.
