Robert "Woody" Woodard, 63, of Waldron, Arkansas passed away on May 13, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born June 25, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late John Robert and Emma (Keith) Woodard.
Woody was a hardworking man, a family man, a man that loved the outdoors. He was a wonderful Daddy and Pop Pop. He was always there to lend a helping hand no matter what the task was.
He is survived by three children; Jeremy Woodard of Fort Smith, Jordan Gilbert of Waldron, Tori Woodard of Waldron, four grandchildren; Josh Woodard, Jaylin Woodard, and Jesse Woodard of Jonesboro, Havyn Gilbert of Waldron, three sisters; Brenda Morgan of Poteau, Belenda Oswald of Waldron, and Melenda Woodard of Calico Rock.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.R. and Emma Woodard, and one bother Johnny Woodard.
Visitation will be Wednesday May 19, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at Birdsview Cemetery with Rev. Roger Rice officiating under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bates, Toby Ingle, Morgan Ingle, Jimmy Oswald, Randy Watkins and Kenny Singleton.
Honorary pallbearers are Clayton Gilbert, Jud Parker, Lynn Neal and Josh Woodard.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
