He was born April 16, 1940 in Sterling, Illinois the son of Harold Earl and Helen Elizabeth (Steadman) Adair.
He was Vice President of Loans in Banking for over 50 years.
He was in the Fayetteville Sequoyah Kiwanis Club for 45 years and was past president.
He also served in the Washington County 4-H Foundation. Barker was a past Washington County Fair Board member.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karmen Kaye Allen; brother, John Harold Adair; and a grandson, Matthew Leichner.
Barker is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol (Keck) Adair; a daughter, Kim Leichner (and her husband, Mark) of Farmington; three grandchildren; a great grandson; and his son-in-law, Keith Allen.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Moore's Chapel.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Moore's Chapel.
Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
