MARSHALL - Ann, 96, of East Conemaugh. Died May 24, 2021, at Laurelwood Care Center. Born August 26, 1924, in Indiana, Pa. Daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Halinka) Kormanik. Also preceded in death by husband, Thomas R.; son, James; brothers, Nick, Joseph, John, George and sister, Frances. Survived by daughters, Karen, Judith, and son, Thomas, married to Deborah (Woolf) all of Johnstown; grandchildren, Jacqueline, Kelly (Jared) Reck, Sam, Luke, Rory, and Kyle Marshall; great grandchildren, Eric, Kendall, and Malachi. Sister of Mary (Malinick) of Irvine, California, Dorothy (Cox), Prince George, Virginia, and brother, Paul, Athens, Georgia. And numerous nieces and nephews. Her mother died when Ann was two, and, being the oldest daughter, she soon had to be the mother of the family. When they were grown and on their own, she married Tom and raised another family. A private woman, she requested that there be no public visitation or service. She was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration, where a private funeral Mass will be held at the discretion of the family with Father Robert Hall, pastor. A private committal will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family is being served by Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, 229-231 First Street, Conemaugh.
