Rev. HENRY MECKLEMERRY DUNCAN, was the son of Josiah "Joe" & Margaret Ellen "Peggy" Miller Duncan. Henry 1st married SARAH V. HUGHES, daughter of William Frederick & Delphia Hughes, on 03 Feb 1867 in Wayne Co., Missouri. Henry & Sarah had the following children: EDWARD DUNCAN; WILLIAM FREDRICK DUNCAN (1st m: Martha E. Dickson; 2nd m: Nan H. [maiden name unknown]); MARTHA A. DUNCAN; MARGARET E. DUNCAN BRUMBELOW (m: Unknown Brombelow); MARY J. DUNCAN; ANDREW B. DUNCAN; RICHARD DUNCAN.

After Sarah's death, Henry 2nd married EMMA CATHERINE MEADOR, daughter of Rev. Joel A. & Mary Ann Twidwell Meador, on 04 Jun 1881 in Wayne Co., Missouri.
