Pardon Knapp Webb was born to James Webb and Hannah Griswold. He married Clarissa Jane Lee on 7 Jan 1844 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo, Michigan. They settled in Utah and had nine children. Pardon married his second wife, Margaret Louella Kay on 22 Mar 1862. They had a large family of fourteen children. Pardon and Margaret moved to Mona, Utah. Clarissa chose to stay with her children in Payson, Utah until she died 3 Sep 1892. Pardon and Margaret went as pioneers to Lehi, Maricopa, Arizona where they took an active part in settling and building the town.
