EAST LIVERPOOL — Catherine "Kate" Buck, 84, of East Liverpool, passed, Monday, May 24, 2021, at Continuing Health in Lisbon.
Born, September 10, 1936, in Wellsville, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Margaret Bonidie Pucci. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, William Buck on March 3, 2015. Kate was also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, and Nick Pucci, and recently by her sister Marge Cenivivia.
Kate was a graduate of Wellsville High School Class of 1954. She retired from East Liverpool City Hospital where she formerly worked in Housekeeping. She was a proud co-owner and co-operator with her sister, Betty of the former Uniform Shop in East Liverpool.
She was devoted to her family, Catholic faith, and community. Her life was spent being selfless and loving unconditionally. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, and cooking Sunday dinner.
Kate will be deeply missed by her children, Cheryl Buck-Reed and her husband Mark of East Liverpool, Craig Buck and his wife, Lisa of WI., David Buck and his wife, Debbie of TX., James Buck and his wife Karen of WI., and Robert Elder and his wife, Cheryl of Ohio; sisters, Rose Logan of Hammondsville, Fran McLaughlin of Florida, and Betty Lona and her husband George of East Liverpool. She will also be deeply missed by her 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held at Locust Hill Cemetery.
