Rosa Lee Shirley, 81, left her Earthly home after battling her fight from cancer on Friday, May 21, 2021 at her home in Eucha, OK with her family by her side. Rosa was born on October 3, 1939 in Summerfield, OK to her parents, Elzie Pickle and Rozetta Earls-Pickle. Rosa married the love of her life Frank L. Shirley on January 7, 1957 in Avondale, MO. They started their life together raising 5 children in the home. Her children were her World. Rosa made the decision to stay home to be a full-time mom raising her children. She loved cooking for her family as well as the people she loved and made sure that no one ever left her home hungry. Rosa loved shopping, planting, and watching her roses bloom. Most of all she loved watching her hummingbirds. She was an all-around mom that made sure we were loved, educated, taken care of and she just took care of whatever needed to be done. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Rosa is preceded in death by her parents, Elzie and Rozetta Pickle; her children, Nancy Allen and Becky Muff; grandchildren, Michael Shirley and Misty Jones; siblings, Bob McClung, Lucille Turner, Ray McClung, Clifton McClung, Hester Pickle, George Pickle, Farce Pickle, Ruby Pickle, Thelma Owens, Gilbert Pickle, Luke Pickle, Margaret Kilgore, Marvin Pickle, Mark Pickle and Elzie Pickle; son-in-law, KC Jones. Rosa is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank L. Shirley of the home; 3 children, Donna Jones of Eucha, OK, Sharon Farone and husband Louie of Clearwater, FL, Franklin Shirley and wife Michelle of Gardner, KS; 6 grandchildren, Barry Muff, Kourtney Adkins, Patty Allen, Phillip Muff, Dustin Shirley and Breana Shirley; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
.Rosa's Celebration Of Life Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 with Pastor Herbert Scott Officiating. Burial will follow to New Eucha Cemetery, Eucha, OK.
