Robert "Bob" Swann, 76, of Granbury passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, May 28, 2021, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel with graveside service to follow at Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2021, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
Bob was born on October 9, 1944 in St. Petersburg, Florida to Randall and Jean Swann. He proudly served in the US military for 21 years and did two tours in Vietnam. He loved spending time with his kids and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most of all he loved spending time with his beautiful Danish wife, Jeanette. They travelled the world together during his time in the military and loved going on road trips during their years of retirement. They truly experienced a once in a lifetime love. They married after knowing each other for just six months and they would have been married 56 years in just a few short days.
He worked in Granbury for over 30 years in the Ophthalmic field and was well known and loved by many. To know him is to love him. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his son: André Swann.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Jeanette Swann, son: David Swann, daughter: Alicia Grogan and spouse Jimmy, grandchildren: Justin Swann and spouse Sandy, Whitney Drake and spouse Colton, Cody Swann and spouse Ana, Amber Morrison and spouse David, Mariya Swann and boyfriend Lane, Tim Swann and Noah Guinn, and extended family.
