George C. Beach, 81, of Sturgis passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

George was born to the late John Guy and Floella Beach on April 3, 1938 in Wheatcroft.

George was in the United States Navy and was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Wheatcroft.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Patricia of Sturgis, 1 daughter Christine Ball (Kurt) of Dyersburg, TN 2 sons James Beach of Plymouth, MI and Michael Beach (Shannon) of McLeansboro, IL 2 sisters Betty Jean Wilson of Sebree and Margaret Foster (Frankie) of Wheatcroft, 1 brother Marvin Beach (Beverly) of Wheatcroft Brother –in-law and sister-in-law Oliver and Pinkie Eggleston of Washington State and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dennis and Mary Kauffman of Phoenix, AZ 7 grandchildren Amanda Hicks, Andrea Luck, Amber Fowler, Seth Beach, Leah Beach, Olivia Ball, Delaney French and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Bro. Frankie Foster and Bro. Stacey Foster officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay. Visitation will be Saturday, July 27, 2019 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home and 10:00 AM til service time on Sunda
