Linda was employed in long term healthcare for more than 30 years at local nursing homes, mainly as an Activity Director. She also worked at the Vincennes and Lawrenceville Walmart's. Linda's main goal in life was taking care of and helping her family and friends. She was a lifelong member of Bethany Christian Church. She enjoyed being with family and the animals at home, as well as baking, crafting, and quilting. She was well known for her wonderful, fun loving smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Joe Dennis York; and one sister, Cheryl Ann (York) Lust.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard F. Perry; one daughter, Jodi Bond and husband, Jim of Sumner, Illinois; one grandson, Jesse Bond and wife, Amanda of Sumner, Illinois; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Millard York and wife, Sue of Wheatland, Indiana, John York and wife, Jackie of Sumner, Illinois; and James York and wife, Mary of Bakersfield, California; as well as many nieces and nephews, and her best buddies, Harley Perry and Kailyn Perry.
A private burial will be conducted at a later date.
