BETHANY Donna Ruth (Welch) Barton, 73, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2013. Donna was born on July 2, 1939, in Pawhuska, OK to Maggie and George Welch. Donna was a woman of many talents. She was a fantastic seamstress, gardener and mother to not only her three sons but to other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her son, Reggie; brother, Russell Welch; and sister, Joyce Musgrove. Survivors include Chester Barton, her husband of 57 years; two sons, Tim Barton and wife Karen, and Tony Barton; sister, Ethel Key and husband Jesse; her two grandchildren, Jennifer Stevenson and husband Jerome, and Justin Barton; one great-grandson, Parker Stevenson, the love of her life; as well as many, many nieces and nephews and other loving family members. Donna worked early in her career as a hairdresser and ended her career as a bookkeeper. She lived most of her life in the Bethany area. She loved working in her yard and her flower beds, which were envied by all who saw them. Memorial service will be Tuesday, March 12, 10 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
