Bridget Ellen Williams, 64, of Las Vegas, passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, with family and friends at her side, from complications following a lung transplant. Bridget was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Hawthorne Hospital, Hawthorne, Calif. The family resided in Manhattan Beach, Calif., until they moved to Las Vegas, in 1960, where she met her future husband, Jeff Williams.

Following her early years at Our Lady of Las Vegas, the family returned to southern California, where Bridget attended St. Joseph High in Lakewood, Calif. At this time she took her first job at Marie Callender's as a server. Upon graduation in 1969, the family moved back to Las Vegas, where Bridget transferred to the newly opened East Sahara Marie Callender's. She then married Jeff, her childhood sweetheart, in 1970. Following 20 years as office manager, she was given the opportunity to buy the restaurant, and had since expanded the operation to three locations in the Las Vegas Valley. Bridget also served as president to the franchise council for 10 years.

Bridget is survived by husband, Jeff; brother, Michael French; sister, Phyllis Tracy; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Leo Falkensammer; numerous nieces; nephews; and many dear friends. Rosary and celebration of life will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at Lawry's Restaurant, 4043 Howard Hughes Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89169. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Bridget Williams Lung Transplant Program, UCLA Heart & Lung Transplant Program, 1145 Gayley Ave. #301, Los Angeles, CA 90024
